Housing Shortage in Lubbock?

Cayson Pearl
Posted Apr 20 2024, 17:36

Do you feel like there is a housing shortage at all in Lubbock? I am trying to gauge the rental market here. I am new to the area, and I feel like the general consensus is that it's overpriced, but is the supply there? Open to any other opinions about the Lubbock Market.

Hi Cayson,

We have healthy amount of inventory here in Lubbock, I wouldn't say that there's a housing shortgage at all, in fact we have 3 1/2 months worth of inventory on the market at the moment. I'd love to discuss more.

I am not sure there's any tertiary market in TX that is experiencing a shortage of inventory right now. From what I am seeing, there is either a slight oversupply or things are somewhat balanced.
