According to a new ranking from the U.S. News & World Report, Raleigh and Durham are the #2 and #4 hottest real estate markets in the country. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these areas benefited from the desire of more living space and unusually low mortgage rates. They still remain popular today even with higher mortgage rates and as more workers have returned to offices. Now is the time to buy and get your homes ready for Spring and Summer!

Hannah, can you post a link to the report in U.S. News & World?

Hey Michael - I hope you are doing well! Here is the article link. MSA Info

In Raleigh and Durham we are already seeing things shift back to multiple offers and the DD on offers ticking upwards. Anything with a Raleigh or Durham address doesn't work as an investment property unless a chunk of equity is left in the deal (for those needing cash flow). As rates stabilize, I am thinking we will have a busy spring and summer pushing prices upwards once again.

Anytime you're looking to chat real estate in this area, feel free to give me a shout.
