Buy and hold in Austin area
How is the Austin Texas market for a buy and hold strategy? I am looking for a plex to BRRR in the area. I'm zeroing in on North Austin but I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Is it also good for STR?

You won't BRRR and won't STR in Austin easily. It'll likely appreciate above market, but can you eat the cash flow negative monthly? Property taxes here are atrocious too.
My insurance is getting re-upped and it's exploded, as well.
