Hedge Funds-who is taking care of these properties?
So lately I've heard a lot about Wall Street buying up entire neighborhoods in appreciating areas. Who is doing all the property management for these companies? Do they have their own management companies?

They've been at this for going on 10+ years now, so I doubt they're going to exit the market. For them management is easier they already have an entire portfolio so they aren't looking for 'customers' to manage their properties. They also don't have to worry about a pricing structure to win business etc, so they can focus on management and efficiency. Lots of buy/build/hold developers are set up the same way, the only change was hedge funds buying SFR instead of MFR properties to own.
