Big Beat STR market?

I am thinking about purchasing a single family in the Big Bear Lake Area of California. Aside from local regulations to watch out for, how is everyone else doing in the area. If anyone would like to share their reports with me before I get started I would be very appreciative. Also is there any decent management in the area to watch over the day to day with cleanings and that sort of thing?

I would definitely do a lot of due diligence before buying in Big Bear. The lake level is receding every year. So much so that Swim Beach is closed indefinitely and as we move further and further away from the ice age that the earth is coming out of, snow levels will be affected more and more every year. Buyer beware!
