Would like to hear your thoughts on raffling off a home

For example $50-$100 a ticket and selling out of tickets at a certain set number . I'm aware that so much of the profit must go to charity based on the county and state you live in . I'm just wondering why people don't do more of this . To me it sounds like an amazing idea.

What are your thoughts.
