Morris Invest and Pcean Pointe turnkey SKAM
Hello fellow investors, wannabe investors and everybody else. I just want to warn you if you are thinking about investing with Clayton Morris and Natali Morris that they are runnig a #turnkeyskam in Indianapolis, In.
My saga began 10 m ago (Sept 2017) when I desided to invest with them after watching their podcast and had an convessation with Dave Koehn from Morris Invest.
Everithing was fine till the moment when I asked for renovation update few weeks after the closing.
I found out that I am not dealing at all with Morris Invest but a company called Ocean Pointe. Erica, linzi and the rest of them were rude unproffesional and and at large lying bunch of people. From September till November they were insisting that renovation is in place and in November they anounced that renovation is completed. Than I asked for set of pictures after to see what is done.
Linzi Del Conte my point of contact refused to send any pictures... After that she reported that the property is rented and Erica got into the picture. Needless to say nothing good happened after that. The communication was slugish, incomplete and employees very rude. One month passed and I did not see any rent coming in or lease agreement. Every other day I was emailing or calling just to get the same ansfer every time - we are waiting for the field manager to give us an update. Then I hired a home inspector in December in an attemt to clarify what is going on there. For 2 months we were trying to get access to the house but Erica was determined not to let this inspection going trough. Then finally Clayton Morris himself showed in after many attemts to call him and he wanted a conference call with me. We scheduled the conf call in March of 2018, he was apologetic understanding and eager to solve the situation. He stated that OP is not working up to his expectations and let many of his investors down, in order to remedy the situation he proposed my property transfered to Blue Sky - his own management company assuring me that he will finish the renovation and rent it out.
Kate Federico from Blue Sky took over in April 2018 - after few days she reported that the property is 70% completed. Since then the experience is even worst in comparison to OP no communication going on, always refering to the mystical Field manager who never cals back. Kate is very rude, refusing to give any deadlines for completion. In the last month of May she said that they will not do any work on the house and Clayton Morris has fallen in WPP - witness protection program. His phone is off now and he do not respond to emails. Latest news is that BS is going out of business at the end of the mont.
In the last week I was able to obtain few pictures from the outside the house showing no work done outside at all, and I just can imagine what is going to be inside.
So folks if you thinking of investing with Morris and Natali Morris from Morris invest run away fast or you'll get burned as I did.
Now #claytonmorris moved to new markets like Detroit Mi, Jacksonville Fl and who knows where elce, so be aware.
At this point I am in the mud not sure what to do. I need to figure out what the damage is and get out of the rut asap.
