Getting Renatus Education

Hello BiggerPockets members. I have the opportunity to purchase a Renatus course from my local real estate group for around $1000 (essential package). The package includes tax information and strategies as well as basics in REI. It seems like a good place for a beginner to start as everything is laid out and in order. Now the more advanced packages start at $4000 and $10,000. My plan is to buy the $1000 education(good content), so I, first and foremost, have some basic knowledge, and join the real estate community in that group. From there I should be able to connect with members and do deals. Sounds like a good idea for a newbie?
