Strategies for a successful team

What are some of the key ways to find successful team members?

Sure word of mouth is great and references help, but it still seems you have to go through so many wanabe handymen that think they are contractors, wholesalers that bring nothing and expect everything, and loan officers that "can do anything" except everything they promise to find the right people.  And then that person moves, retires, or dies.

I know there are a lot of people smarter than me that have figured out efficient ways to find valuable wholesalers, realtors, CPAs, contractors, etc.  Looking for the BP collective thought on this- I am sure there will be a lot of great ideas for everyone to share!

All you need to do is find ONE great team member.

Then ask that team member for references to other great team members, and then ask those people for references to others.

Something I've learned over the years:  Great professionals tend to associate with other great professionals.  They won't risk their reputations by associating with non-great professionals.

So, you just need to find one...
