Rentalutions

Hello again!

I'm managing my first property and a potential renter is asking if I would allow their background and credit check that they have already done from rentalutions.com so they don't have to pay again.

I have two issues:

1. My current background fee is only $25.00 dollars and if they are worried about that amount of money already then they are probably not going to be able to pay consistently.  Maybe not everyone is this way but it's not a good sign correct?

2. I know nothing about rentalutions.com or even know if it's reputable.

Thoughts? Rent is $850.00 a month on this property.

Michael

@Tony Guardado happy to help! The software that's best for you all depends on what you're hoping to accomplish with the software. I think about software in two categories. First, tools that help with the operational parts of being a landlord. The second category is accounting, bookkeeping, expense tracking.

For tools to help streamline the operational parts of being a landlord / real estate investor, a platform like Avail.co would be perfect. It'll save you time and provide a lot of benefits to your renters too. With Avail, you can advertise vacant units, screen prospective renters, create and sign leases, collect rent payments, and manage maintenance tickets.

If accounting is more important, I'd consider using something like Buildium or Appfolio.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions that I can help you answer.
