inquiry about a foreign lender

Is this the proper forum for asking about a specific lender in Brazil? I have a deal in hand, and need 185k fix and flip loan, and I am wary about out of country lender, unless others have used him comfortably. I wont reveal his name/company until I know it is kosher to do so, and which is the proper forum.
