Looking for a good CPA

I'm looking for suggestions for a good CPA who is obviously familiar w/ real estate. We have 2 MF properties, 1 in Galveston, 1 in the Montrose area of Houston.

Does anyone have any?

Thanks!

How do you like it when one colleague of mine tells you to avoid people offering tax planning services and another one suggests that you specifically look for it? :)

This was some friendly teasing between peers, and we all agree on one thing: it's important to find someone specializing in real estate, just like you stated.

You posted your question in the wrong forum however. This forum if for checking out the reputation of a specific company. As in, "Has anybody worked with the tax guy named Michael Plaks out of Houston and what do you think?"

For recommendations, as well as for actually meeting real estate tax accountants like us, it's best to ask in this other forum:  https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/51-tax-legal-issues-con...
