I was just down in San Diego recently paying my respects to my father at Ft. Rosecrans. I had forgotten how impressive the view is from there of the San Diego area looking towards downtown. I highly recommend going to the Cabrillo National Monument while you are in San Diego, it's nearby the conference in Pt. Loma and has magnificent views of the city and the ocean.
