Looking to buy in DFW area

Hi there my name is Mike and I am going to be a first time home buyer.

I just got half my inheritance and want to acquire a cheap condo/apartment preferably under 100k in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. At most under 150k. Ive seen some on Zillow. But some tell me that Zillow isn’t always accurate either. Right now I have roughly around 60k in stock and another 60k stock coming in January.

I am currently living in the Bay Area and I do have income now, but I do not have a job yet in Dallas. I am desperately wanting to move now but if I leave I wont have income just yet. Its been hard trying to land a job out of state. And I don’t want to move and waste inheritance on rent.

I have heard of some folks telling me I can get a loan that doesn’t require me to have income. As long as they see that I have enough assets to pay it.

Or that I can use my income I have now in the bay to get qualified, purchase, and then move after.

Can someone clear this up for me? And run me through my options? Im out here in California pretty miserable.
