House Hacking as a Single Female

Hi, I'm new to real estate investing, I'm learning a ton, and putting together the initial steps of my vision. I'm single, and work remotely for myself and am considering house hacking as a big part of my strategy.

One big question is, if I choose to rent rooms in a house where I live, is it legal to specify "women only" tenants? Of course I'd still vet them thoroughly but would feel much safer this way.

Yes, in most states when you are living in the property with 4 units or less you can select tenants such as female only/ male only etc. Check out equalhousing.org for details.
