Off Market Properties

I am looking to purchase my first real estate investment property and am having a hard time finding off-market properties.

Does anyone have any tips for finding off-market deals?

Quote from @Albert Blair:

Matt, are you on a wholesaler's list? I would try to get with a person or company that advertises that they buy houses and see if you can get on their mailing list of when they have properties for sale. It might be difficult since you are new and probably won't get the best leads, and you will probably have to do some fixing up on the property. In addition, you probably won't be able to a get a conventional loan for an off-market property. Good luck.

Albert, thanks for the response here. I am already on a few whosaler lists but they do not send me the best leads on houses. I am trying to live in the house I purchase and these lists usually send me places in pretty rough areas. Thank you for your insight
