Don’t feel confident in my knowledge

A deal was presented to me recently, as far as numbed go I figure it’s a good first deal. I just don’t know what to expect with being a landlord and or dealing with all the stuff that goes in to closing the deal. Is it better to learn along the way and make mistakes as I go to not let the deal pass. Or wait till I become more knowledgeable with the entire real estate investor/landlord side of things first.

If you are confident in the numbers, then go for it.  Your realtor should be able to walk you through most of the steps along with your lender and whoever handles the closing.  Read up on the local rental laws.  Often there are standard leases available online (from a government) you can use for your area.
