Hello everyone. I'm looking for ways to find Power of Sale properties in Ontario. I don't want to acquire these properties at a discount. But, I would like to identify them because they can have the potential for value-add in a flip or rental scenario. In any case, the previous discussions on this topic are a bit out of date so I am reasking.

*Does anyone know how to identify these properties on the MLS if you do not have agent access to the Seller info? Keywords to search for perhaps?

*Is there a new tool or search engine that will comb the MLS for you to find "distressed" or Power of Sale properties in Ontario?

*Does anyone know the title of the person at the bank (usually corporate) who handles these matters? (I'm happy to call and introduce myself!)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

@Andrew Jones @Quin Green Hi! I know this thread is very old but I was wondering if either of you found a tool like Mon Prospecteur for the Ontario market?

Hello BP Forum. I wanted to formally introduce myself. I've been investing in Canadian real estate (single-family and condos) in London, ON and Toronto, ON since I was 18. My family are commercial and custom home developers who are partners in 3 different companies, so I grew up in this life. Today, I auction luxury residential real estate (and occasionally commercial) with Concierge Auctions. I work across North America but have been managing back-to-back auctions in Canada since January. In fact, I'm writing this from my open house is Tsawwassen (just outside of Vancouver) while I wrap-up an incredible auction of 2 new construction homes going for 50% off list price. Crazy! I'm also under contract for my next renovation project in Forest Hill, Toronto. I'd love to meet investors looking for auction deals, partners looking to go into small-scale renovations and builds, and anyone who just wants to talk about real estate. Looking forward to speaking to you!
