Book keeping and property management software

Jackelyn Usi

Hi BP Canadian investors!

I just bought my first rental property. Just wondering if any one has experience or advice about book keeping and property management software recommendations.

Has anyone opened up a separate chequing account for their rental income? business account? etc.?  - what banks are great for real estate investors? I currently use Simplii for my personal chequing account, wondering if I should use the same one or open up a separate account just for rental income and organization/tax purposes.

Also does anyone have property management software app recommendations. I did some research it seems many are catered to the U.S. I am currently looking at apartments.com, rentredi, etc.

Great to be part of this community! Any discussion is welcomed :)
