Tenant Asking For Cameras

I recently purchased and rented out a new build townhome and after 2 months, the tenant is asking me if she can added a few cameras around the property and change out the brand new Ring doorbell.

She wants to pay for it herself, but as a landlord, can I refuse it? Am I liable for it?

@Diran Deukmajian I would let her, cameras are not permanant,  Just make sure you approve the install locations and she returns it to the state it was in when she rented it after she leaves. I would ask her why, chances are it is a safety issue on her part and she would feel more secure with cameras.   Yes you are entitled to say no but it is not like wall color its security. What would you be liable for?  If the cameras are placed in legal areas (not spying on others) she is good. Can't say about the ring camera, what is the downside?
