What are my Obligations to a Tenant when tenting for termites?

I have a rental property on the Big Island of Hawaii.  I manage it myself.

I am in need of tenting the property for termites.

My tenant is very good, and compliant.  He will need to take care of all his personal items in preparation for tenting.

However, am I obligated to pay for a Post-Fumigation cleanup?????   Or must the tenant just suck it up and deal?

Thanks in advance!!

i'm not sure about your obligation to the tenant, but most tenting for termites use Vikane gas which leaves little to no residue or post-fumigation clean up. I recently tented our home and as we were educated by the company and additional research ,we did not need to wash clothes, dishes, furniture etc unless you were more comfortable doing it. We did light washing of some dishes/utensils only. If your tenting company is using Vikane, educate the tenant and they should be fine.
