Becoming a property manager

like to greet everyone and applaud all help in the form of comments given to find solutions to problems.

I just created a business in which I like to include property management. can anyone point me in the direction of where to get resources for starting a property management business?

    Aloha,

    This greatly depends on your location, and whether you plan to manage properties you own, or properties that others own. To manage for others in most states, you must obtain a Real Estate license and be working under a Real Estate Broker (most states have two or more levels of qualification for licensees, simply getting a RE "license" does not allow you to "start a business"). It would be the Broker's responsibility and choice to allow you to perform PM duties.

    Beyond that, for ANY property management, you need to first learn about applicable local laws; State and Federal laws; and from there develop your major processes.
