Retire a pool? Deckover?

Hi Biggerpockets,

I am looking for an advise of what to do with an inground pool at my rental. It is a small pool and not being used at all by the tenants. I was using a pool company to maintain it for the past few years but the cost has gone up significantly. I will have to maintain it myself now but I was also wondering if it will be better just to get rid of it by either filling it in or building a deck over. Has anybody tried the deckover method? Would it be equally pricey as filling it in? Also, any company you would recommend in the atlanta area? My property is in the Smyrna/Mableton area. Thank you in advance!
