Best property management app
Hey everyone I live in CA and was looking to remotely manage 10 units (four flex 2x and duplex) in IL. I was trying to get an app for communications and rent collections. Any recommendations ??
I am trying out stessa and tenant cloud so far.

@Jordan Ross there aren't a ton of apps that really help you that much at that scale. I used cozy (now apartments.com) for years while I was managing just a few buildings in Berwyn, and it was ok. It had a nice tenant ledger, but it also took like 7 days for the money to hit our account which was insane.
I've been using TenantCloud for the last couple of years. It does work, but I cannot recommend it. I'm tech saaavy, and the software has still frustrated me more times than I can count. I've initiated several online "tickets" for assistance or made suggested improvements - Customer service is poor, improvements have been slow, or non-existent. TenantCloud has made some improvements over the years, but not fast enough in my opinion. I pay $480/year for a subscription, and waas recently notified they will be applying a fee for tenants to pay online...if my tenants can't make free online ACH payments (FREE easy online payments was a huge selling point to get my tenants onboard), then my tenants will start mailing me checks again. I'm looking for new software.
@Jordan Ross - from one jordan in CA to another ... haven't been in a market for an app for over 4 years but have been using Hemlane since then and can't say enough good things about it. customer service is stellar and will scale with you. I use it for my properties in san diego but also out of state.
I have been using Buildium, and it has been working great for me.
