STR: Office / Work Space?

As I'm setting up a STR I find myself with both an available desk and space that makes sense to set up as a small workspace/office space to check that block realistically in a search engine, and genuinely accommodate if somebody is a digital nomad and using my space.

*What are others using to set up such a space?

Buying a printer seems like an expensive option, but something hotels have. Just having a desk, a chair, and a hauty “you’re welcome” seems a touch half hearted. Polling the audience for some ideas….

As someone who has worked remotely for more than a decade, I can tell you what I need for remote working. Comfortable, ergonomic chair. Please don't go for something that is cute, trendy or cheap. If you're in that chair for any length of time, you will GREATLY appreciate a quality chair. A monitor. I usually carry a cable and an adapter in my backpack so I can connect to most monitors.Yes, it's a big plus. Enough desk space to place a note pad, a coffee cup and whatever miscellaneous stuff someone may need (for me, it's 2 different pairs of eyeglasses). And a "hockey puck" type speaker is also GREATLY appreciated because your ears get sore listening to conference calls with ear buds in all day.
