I'm looking for the best way to advertise my first rental property in Oklahoma City. What platforms for are best for the area?

I'd say Zillow is the best because applicants can apply through the platform. Facebook marketplace is good, as well. However, I've found that on Craigslist I get more scam emails and calls than actual interest tenants.

And in all reality, some of the best tenants I've found have been through an old-fashioned sign in the yard.

One pro tip: if someone tries to negotiate rent with you on the phone or through messaging, RUN!!! Their are professional tenants who are always looking for weak landlords to game the system.
