Where do you guys get your direct mailers from? Please let me know where you have had the most success with price and quality for the mailers. Thanks in advance!

 Paid search is not ideal. That should never be your end goal. Paid search should only be applied short term  to make money immediately.

To the OP:

Let me tell you why you should never do DMM.

Other than your the numbers are ridiculously inefficient, you are giving your leads away to the #1 ranking credible website out there.

Door knocking, driving for dollars bandit signs... People see your marketing efforts.. and they WILL go online to check you out.And when they go online to check things out, who will they find?

Us at the top.  Do you know how many phone calls we are getting starting with "hey I got your card in the mail..." or, "Hey I saw your sign on the street". We tale a LOT of our competitors marketing efforts away for free, while they spend a fortune on marketing. Do NOT do DMM!! You are throwing money away!!

The more desperate a seller is, the more motivated you need to be for them to choose you! This is a fact.

Now between 10 and 15% of the public will click on paid ads. The reason? Again, because paid ads are not credible. They pay money to be on top. 

And as we have established, motivated sellers look for credibility, and since only 15% of the people click on paid ads, not only do you get little traffic, you also attract NON motivated sellers. This is why paid ads are so expensive.

Landing pages do not work either. You need to send them to your website, not a landing page. At least not the traditional landing page.

So every dot you see here is a click. As all our traffic is free organic traffic, it is safe to conclude all the clicks came from motivated sellers

Paid traffic is NOT motivated traffic. No matter what ANYONE tells you. True motivated traffic comes from people that came looking for you on their own. Not because they saw an add in their face. Motivated traffic looks for credibility, and paid traffic are opportunistic traffic.

So from the snapshot, you can see that every click came from someone that has not yet filled in the form. Why? Well we do not run an entertainment website. People that need a problem solved land on the site and they are there to see if they can find a solution. Once they fill in the form they are not going to stick around. They are done. So that means every click you see came from someone that did not yet fill in the form

So then this becomes really interesting now.

This screenshot is a behavioral scan of a motivated seller. It is a blue print of what a seller needs to see on the site in order for them to fill in the form.

As you can see,... mos clicks go to the how it works page, the about us page and the our company page.

So the conclusion is that BEFORE ANYONE fills in the form, IF they are motivated at least, they need to know how it works and they need to know more about you!

So all the "experts" that say you need landing pages are flat out wrong!

The data says, if a seller is motivated you need to show you are credible.

Now lets go the logic route.

If YOU needed to sell your house really fast. Lets say you would lose your house if you don't sell it. Would you just click on the first website you saw and pick them?!

Nope, you would ask for proof of funds you would ask for reviews, you would do a search on the you would find out if they bought houses before! You can't afford to waste time and be taken for a ride and them vanishing last moment.

Makes sense right?

Good.

Now you have data that proves it, you have your logic, and now lastly..

stone cold results!

I have yet to see anyone that actually knows how to read and mine data. No marketing company is doing it right, and that is why you should NEVER hire a marketing company to do any SEO work for you.

So stop focusing on DMM. Focus on SEO!

Do this:

Get an investor carrot website.

Work on your credibility. And now you know why...

Then work on SEO, and you WILL get between 4 to 12 leads every single day like clockwork. How do I know?
