Advice on best strategy for documenting rehab process
I am closing on my first investment property on June 7th and need the BP community's advice on how best to document the rehab process. This will be the primary residence for myself, my husband, and 2 kids and it is a major fixer-upper. I am a licensed Realtor, so I know the ins and outs of marketing in regards to listings and such, but I am looking to shift my career focus to flipping homes and working primarily with investors. I have been leaning towards documenting the process with live videos, but would love suggestions on what specific parts to document and how best to do so to capture the most interest. In my current market area of Savannah, GA there are more and more people entering the REI world and I want to capitalize on the growing number of investors in my area. How often would you document a part of the process? Which parts of the rehab are most people interested in? Would you do only live video, or throw in normal social media posts with photos? Would you talk about the construction piece only, or would you also talk about the financial aspects (since this will be our primary residence)? Are there any "do" or "don't" strategies? Any advice is appreciated!

As a surprise gift our kids presented us with a book they compiled of photographs (& cursive quips) on each one of the many homes we bought & tore apart. Most of our friends find these, now coffee table books, interesting. Whereas, my wife & I simply look back at what we did & wonder how the he!! we did it. Another gem was their idea of putting a lot of the pics together as a rehab/build progress slideshow for each property.
