Direct mail response rate

Mailed 10.000 postcards over the last two months to absentee owners who have been in title for at least 15 years. My response rate was .25 of 1%. Pretty lousy if you ask me. Any suggestions as to how to improve on this.

Post cards are reinforcement marketing and a total numbers game. IMHO you should have mailed out two yellow letters before sending out a post card.

Here our four of ours

I would have suggested that you send out two yellow letter mail pieces before your post card. Most people look at the price of a post card and think "Great" however if used incorrectly they are very expensive. In fact yellow letter mail will out pull post cards hands down.

Over the last 6 weeks my return has been above 12 percent and I have seen upwards of 40% reported by some of our customers.

No matter what marketing youre doing be it bandit signs, post cards, yellow letter mail, what ever makes the telephone ring we should be using the callers cell phone to the fullest potential.

I set everyone up in a autoresponder text system to keep touching the prospect each month. Remember they qualify to sell us their house and we now have something most people dont have... Their cell phone number. And I have found well above 70% of people use their cell numbers to call nowadays.
