Marketing verses SPAM

Hey everyone!

I've built a property maintenance / renovation company and I'd like to begin building relationships with local Investors and Agents. I don't however, want to be looked at as another spammer. So obviously I'm trying to tread lightly..

From a marketing standpoint, we've done reasonably well finding work with homeowners, but does anyone have advice on getting involved in the investment community?

We're currently based in Raleigh NC. I plan to check out TREIA, and some of the meetups nearby.

Are there any well known resources that I may not be aware?

Thanks in advance!
