Noobie looking to volunteer in exchange for knowledge!

Hello BP, I am a 23 year old that is looking to get started in REI. I would like to work for someone as a volunteer in exchange for knowledge, and to have the ability to receive some hands on training. The only experience I have is from the books that I have read on REI. But, I am very dedicated when I put my mind to something. Currently I'm a waiter at cheesecake factory working night shifts so I have all of my days available. I am in the Broward area in Florida.
