Looking Back on 2016 and Plans For 2017
Hey BP Community!!
I wanted to open a discussion around what you all have done with marketing. I am putting together my marketing plan for 2017 and thought - what better place to seek input than a community of people succeeding in this business!
I would love to know more about your direct marketing, what mailers you send, your driving for dollars plans, maybe how you use social media, what lists you love, or just some crazy experiment you can't wait to try. Honestly, anything
To keep things somewhat contained, I have two questions. I would love your thoughts on either one, or both!!
1) What was something you did in 2016 that brought consistent and great results?
2) What is a marketing tactic you are going to experiment with in 2017 in hopes it will take your business to the next level?
I've searched the forums and seen that some other investors have had the same question. Did you find any good insight?

What about some of you BP and marketing rockstars? Any insight to share?

In this highly competitive market, there is no single silver bullet. Multiple approaches will return results, but not as good as it used to be or will be once the market turns. Networking, bandit signs, direct mail, networking, auctions, driving for dollars and some MLS listings will produce results.
The key is quality and consistent. The marketing piece and message need to match the quality expected by the buyer and it takes multiple impressions to move a market.
Coke continues to market in multiple ways in order to keep and get new customers. Why would it be different for real estate?
