I have my house listed on several by owner sites and the local mls. I have gotten a few calls from "real people" but most responses have been similar to the following, which arrived today:
"Good Day,
I was just browsing the housing classification and determine that your selling. We are buying property in all areas at across America, and if youhavent sold your real estate yet, please visit us today for furtherinformation. Url of Website:http://www.___________/propertybuyers/

I hate to go to them, thinking most are scammers and don't want to be involved with that.
Am I missing something here? If they were legit, wouldn't they make an offer, at least to find out more, rather than telling ME to go to them?

Or, am I being stupid when I don't go to the sites? I did go to one, and got a large warning on my computer about it being a dangerous site--virus or something, I want to sell at a fair value, not to be ripped off...
