Reducing Direct Mail Costs!

Hey guys! Got any tips to reduce the direct mail costs? Any sites that offer direct mail campaigns from post cards to yellow letters and prices. Also at which point in number of letters have you all seen a price drop per piece mailed? I am currently doing some research on the topic and wanted some feedback from the BP community.

Thanks!

I was actually trying to find a different discussion going on regarding Postcardmania but in my experience, they were very expensive. I use a company in Brookfield, WI called United Mailing Services.  I sent them my mailing list and the letter I want to use and they do the rest. They will run your list through NCOA (National Change of Address) database which updates any old addresses to what's the latest on files at the USPS and they will send you back the list with the updates. They print the letter in handwritten font and mail the letters. It costs about .50-.60 each to send letters and about .40 to send postcards.  They do get cheaper postage rates but it will be a first class presort.  For me, they are a great resource and since I found them last year, I haven't used another mailing service.  They do not give volume discounts.
