Marketing For Buyers

Lately we have been receiving many direct mail marketing letters from wholesalers who are sending out to try and attract buyers and sellers.  This is a great way for them to help possibly build a list or get a home under contract to flip.

The one thing though that makes me grind my teeth is when the letters have lines in them that read like the following:  " We are the premier real estate investment company in the Memphis market ".

Knowing that this is a 100% false statement and most likely they dont have any homes to sell bothers me a little.  You dont have a company, you cant service investors long term, no homes for sale, never renovated or less own any property personally, are just some of the certainties here.

If you have to tell people you are the best then your most likely not.  If your the best you will have others say so, not you.

I dont mind people marketing for buyers or sellers, just dont like the the false advertising.
