Rent minimum requirements questions

Hello I am looks for the best requirements to find a great tenant, I know they should pay for first month’s rent, and a deposit before moving in, I will do a background check and check their credit score, I believe nothing lower then 750 score I should pick for a tenant. What other requirements would you think I might need? Where can I do a background check and credit score? Also is there anywhere I can do the credit score and background check for free?
