Trying to find Comps

Posted

Hello, my name is Arman Bagdasaryan and i'm 16 years old learning as much as possible about Real-estate investing. Ive read BRRRR as well as Brandon Turners book but i'm just having trouble on the Comps. Right now i'm just Analyzing properties for to get really good at it so it becomes very easy for me (BRRRR), but here comes the problem i cant seem to find comps. Right now i'm just Analyzing deals of Redfin is there anywhere else a 16 year old can possibly look at deals to Analyze houses instead of redfin, Zillow and etc...

In my county, summit county, ohio, you can get sales information for the area surrounding an address from county property tax record site.

They list all nbhd (neighborhood) sales and all valid nbhd sales (which are those arm's lenght transactions that are included in determining market value for the property tax rate)
