Deciding not to pay rent straight out of highschool

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $68,000
Cash invested: $5,000

My First Home that I purchased at 18 years old. After moving out, into our current home we turned this into a SFH rental.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I was just finishing up high school and going to basic training for the military. I was scared of wasting money on renting and decided that I wanted to purchase instead of rent.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

MLS- This is my only MLS deal to date

How did you finance this deal?

Bank- Standard Mortgage

How did you add value to the deal?

House hacked- added a room mate to pay the mortgage
