House-hack in Greenville, SC
Investment Info:
Small multi-family (2-4 units) buy & hold investment.
Purchase price: $135,000
Cash invested: $15,000
Currently living in a duplex house-hack with. I am rehabbing the units myself. One unit will be ready to be rented soon with estimated rents around 850-950. I am living in the other unit, and plan on creating more square-footage out of the attic. With these improvements, we plan on refinancing and pulling out more than what we invested to recycle the cash into another deal. With one unit rented out, and renting out a room to a roommate, I think we will have positive cashflow while living in here.
