Buy and Hold - purchased before learning about Brrrr

Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment in Charlotte.

Purchase price: $105,000

Buy and hold with partners in Druid Hills neighborhood in Charlotte, NC
Renovating for long term rental will hopefully be ready to rent April 1.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Up and coming area of town and this was such a good deal.

How did you finance this deal?

Mortgage with partners

Lessons learned? Challenges?

Originally bought to sit on for a while and then renovate to sell. Then discovered biggerpockets, "speculating", and started learning what we really SHOULD be doing. So already had a mortgage but are investing in suring up the building, and rehabbing it for long term rental so that we don't have all of the holding costs as we wait.
