Is "We Lend" reputable?
Hi folks. I put an ad on BP looking for alternative financing and was contacted by Todd Catronio of "We Lend" who are billed as 'hard money' lenders. He seems very knowledgeable and has been very generous in sharing his expertise in evaluating a potential deal. As we near the the moment when its "make an offer on the property" time, I need to also make the call about whether to do business with some random dude I met on the internet; especially as I will be giving him personal financial and identity information to do credit checks etc.
My question (s):
Has anyone done business with Todd or "We Lend?"
Can you vouch for them?
If you havent done business with them, can you suggest some steps I may take to vett him/them?
What should I be careful about/ leery of?
Thank you for your consideration and time.

just cruised by their website and they say they lend nationwide with the exception of 7 states.
however on 1 to 4 unit properties there are states that require License and NMLS registration.. Oregon being one. And the license must be on the first page of their website which they dont display one so I have a feeling they either dont know they need a license or they simply dont loan in the 12 states that require licenses.. just a small item.. they have AAPL which is a paid for endorsement that means nothing.
