Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

I bought this property to live in since it was cheaper to own than rent in the area. I made some minor updates and then rented it out.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

I wanted to own my own home and it was in my price range

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

I had a real estate agent that helped me found the property and she actually convinced me to buy it.

How did you finance this deal?

10% doen, conventional loan

How did you add value to the deal?

I updated the floor, fencing, All appliances and added Central Heating and Air Conditioning

What was the outcome?

I had such good luck that I bought a second property and I am renting that one out as well

Lessons learned? Challenges?

I need to be more open to opportunities

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I had an excellent agent who had an amazing team behind her that got both deal done for me
