Investment Info:

Single-family residence buy & hold investment.

Purchase price: $41,000

single family home purchased. 3 bedroom, one bath. No repairs needed. I did have the wall paper removed from one bedroom.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Buy and hold is all I am interested in.

How did you find this deal and how did you negotiate it?

Property was located by my out of state realtor.

How did you finance this deal?

I obtained a 30 year loan for this property thru Chemical bank.

What was the outcome?

as expected. Purchased in mud June. Tenants moved in from another state on August 1st.

Lessons learned? Challenges?

The only challenge was finding insurance coverage because it was right after the horrible tornado and some companies had put a freeze on new policies.
