Toughts with property?
Hello everyone just wanted to see if I could have some thoughts on dilemma I am having.
I will be buying a condo in long beach, California. It's an Ideal location as it's right next to downtown long beach 5 minute walk to stores restaurant, 10 min walk to the beach aquarium and everything. Also DTLB is having alot of new construction and money put into it.
So I believe it will appreciate alot.
So my total cost for mortgage, taxes, and all other cost is around 1,450. Originally I was only going to use the condo to live during the summer, or use it as a office. But then my frugality kicked in and didn't want to spend all that for me not to get anything in return. I can rent out the place for 1,300 and not have much of a loss. My goal is to keep this forever as I love the location, but not in need to move in right now. I'd it worth it me renting it a a small loss a month?
