Lookin for advice. :)

Just made an offer on a duplex. Site unseen. Sent the earnest money.

I’ve looked at pics and those look fine. But we know you can’t trust pics.

Should I have at least asked for a virtual tour for example Marco Polo app or something similar?

Are will this come up during the inspection?

New and could use some sound advice. This is an out of state deal so I can’t just drive up and take a peek.

@Jared Smith If you haven't yet, check out David Greene's book on Long distance REI. As far as getting eyes on the deal, if it is a good enough deal it may be worth a flight to see it. A few hundred dollars in airfare could make or save you thousands over time. Since it is out of state, I assume you will be using a property manager. Get them on board sooner than later and get them involved as the boots on the ground. You also could offer to pay the agent to attend an inspection or to take some more detailed photos for you. If you have yet to assemble the team of boots in the ground I would reccomend the flight even more, to see the property and shake hands with "the team". Good luck!!
