Hi everyone, So I am currently interested in putting an offer on the table for a 16 unit apartment building. My main concern is that all 16 units are 1 bed 1 bath. I have no experience with this but my thinking leads me to believe that this type of set up lends to more vacancies. Is this a correct assessment? Does anyone have experience with this type of building and can provide any insight?

Like others have stated in this thread, this is more of a local, market-specific question. But here in the Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater marketin Florida, I find that I have a ton of demand for 1/1 units and studios.

As rents continue to climb, single people and even couples, are looking for smaller, less expensive places to live. It sort of goes along with the tiny house craze if you think about it.
