Garage to bonus room conversion
Good morning,
I bought a house in florida, zip 32909, that was a legal 3/2 but the garage had been converted about 20 years ago, to a bonus room with bathroom and separate A/C. When I went through the buy process there was an issue with that garage conversion not being permitted. The fines were removed and I bought the house.
How do I know if the house is considered a legal 4/3? I don't want to ask the county until I'm ready for potential more fines etc.
Thanks,
Elda
