If you are familiar with Michigan city, IN or have investments around there, I would like to get feedback on what your experience has been so far ? I am looking at an off- market property around there and the numbers are making sense so far. But if there's anything I need to be aware of , I would appreciate any inputs. I am looking for a PM as well around that area to manage the rental - so any feedback on that front would be helpful!

Sandy is 100% correct. You need to know where you are buying as there are pockets of town with high crime and high turnover. If the house is in the right part of town, you can definitely find good tenants but I would not expect more than 1-2% appreciation per year. I'm happy to give you feedback if you want to say where the house is located.
