What is Your Favorite Market Resource?

BP community -

What is your favorite resource to help you hone in on attractive metro areas to invest in? And what data do you find most valuable? Please share your recommendations!

I am shifting my strategy from "buy and hold expensive SFH's in San Francisco" to include multi-family, high cash-flow properties within 2-hour flight or car ride from the SF Bay Area. I have found various Forbes articles on attractive metro areas for RE investing, lists of booming cities, Kiplinger home price trends, etc.

Popular metrics used by RE investors include:

- Price/rent ratio

- Job growth

- Home price trends

Below is some initial market data I have put together.

What are your favorite resources and data to assess which markets to invest in?

Thanks in advance for sharing.
