Marketing Expenses

I'm currently working on expenses like business cards, website, etc. I know we all have different approaches but I'd like to do a combination of social media, direct mail, and bandit signs. Expecting a $500 marketing budget a month, thinking that would be very solid for an aggressive approach. I highly value marketing and plan to hire someone solely for Business Development & Marketing.

How much do you spend on Marketing expenses per month? What methods do YOU tend to favor?

Hello @Julia Choseed!

I think you are off to a good start. I would agree with the comments above that I wouldn't necessarily consider it a super aggressive approach, HOWEVER, I think it is a good starting point. Before you know it you will be able to up your monthly budget.

I like to look at the monthly budget as an average since I like to switch up my marketing pieces each time for my direct mail campaign. For example, postcards are a bit cheaper than yellow letters, so while my postcard month may be $400, my yellow letter month may be $600, thus averaging $500.

Either way, I think you are on the right track!
